Meet Jesse
Welcome
Welcome to Center Mindful, your place for centering from the heart. My name is Jesse Frechette, and I am a certified mindfulness teacher through California's Mindful Schools and a licensed clinical social worker with a master's degree from University of Pennsylvania. I love teaching and coaching mindfulness with individuals, couples, families, groups, and classes and providing mindfulness-based therapy and sand-tray therapy to help my clients to achieve their goals.

I have twenty years of experience as a clinical social worker and school counselor and ten years of experience as a mindfulness teacher, facilitator, and coach. I am the founder of Center Mindful, a mindfulness studio inside of the Center for Mindfulness and Wellness, where I am co-founder and co-director. I provide individual sessions, groups, and classes both inside my studio and in the large mindfulness room at our Center for Mindfulness & Wellness. I am also available to provide offsite groups, classes, and presentations in schools and organizations, as well as to colleagues or friends who would like to form a group either here at the Center or at an off-site location.

Specialties
I specialize in coaching and teaching mindfulness to teens and adults and providing mindfulness-based psychotherapy and sand-tray therapy. I also have a commitment to supporting lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning teens, adults, and families both through mindfulness support groups and mindfulness-based psychotherapy. I teach mindfulness in school classrooms and provide workshops to school staff. I was also trained in Mindfulness and Cultural Relevance to teach mindfulness in high schools and MindBodySpirit (now the Habit Change Company) to facilitate Corporate Wellness programs.
